David Cameron is the new Prime Minister

Just earlier today, England found out who the next Prime Minster was going to be. The conservatives won the most seats from the election but did not get enough of a majority to completely win the election. This caused for the first time in many years, England to have a hung parliament. For the last five days now, the whole of England has been uncertain as to who was going to lead our country. Finally, following the resignation of the Labour leader Gordon Brown, David Cameron has become our Prime Minister. This will be the first time that conservatives have been in power for 13 years now. Since Nick Clegg (the leader of the Liberal Democrats) has become Cameron’s deputy, it will be the first time in 70 years that England has formed a coalition government. It is definitely a big change for the government of England. Hopefully it is a good change and one that will make the government stronger.
