Mayweather Wins Again

Posted on: May 2, 2010

Floyd Mayweather Jr. remains undefeated. Last night, Mayweather was able to win an unanimous decision over Shane Mosley in a welterweight fight. Mayweather got off to a rocky start, nearly being knocked down in the second round. However, he quickly recovered and dominated the remaining 10 rounds to secure an easy victory over the 38-year old Mosley. Every judge had him winning the last ten rounds. Mayweather was able to land 208 punches compared to Mosley’s 92. Mayweather was just too quick for Mosley and seemed to elude almost every punch that Mosley threw. With this easy victory, almost everybody wants to see a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight in the near future. This was supposed to be that fight, but disagreements over drug testing stopped the fight from occurring. Lets just hope they can solve the problem so that we can see this highly anticipated showdown between these two boxing greats.
