Pendleton Looks to the Future
Posted April 19, 2010on:
The 2010 Pendleton Panther Varsity baseball season has come to a close, but it wasn’t our storybook ending. The team ended up finishing 10 and 10 on the year, which is way down from the team’s 31 and 1 record last year. There are many fingers being pointed in different directions, but at the end of the day we just were not able to win as many games as we had hoped for. This team had more talent than many other teams in the area or possibly in the country, due largely in part to our #3 national ranking in some preseason polls. After a few bad games we could never get the winning edge back and finished the season on a poor note. Many of us 2011 graduates are looking to the future and are already getting prepared to make a run at an undefeated season. We are brining back nearly six varsity players and there are about three of us that are ready to lead our team to a successful season. We will be very strong in all aspects of the game. Make no doubt that our school will be well known around the country by next spring.
