Kobe is back

Kobe Bryant

After 5 games with Kobe out of the team due to an injury on his left ankle, Los Angeles Lakers are glad to have their #24 back on the court. It is the first time in his 13 seasons in the Californian franchise that Bryant couldn’t play a game due to an injury. The team was able to handle this loss, but his return couldn’t have been better. Yesterday in the FedEx Forum, home of the Memphis Grizzlies, he made the last 6 points of his team, finishing with a three-pointer with less than 5 seconds left that left the scoreboard reading 98-99 after the buzzer. Lakers were losing 98-96 and Memphis had two free throws to close the match, but Mayo couldn’t handle the pressure and missed both. It was then that Kobe came out with his magic and gave Phil Jackson’s team their seventh win in the last ten games.
