This Sunday Chris Johnson the running back for the Tennessee Titans became only the sixth player in NFL history to rush for 2000 yards or more. Chris Johnson had 1872 yards going into the last week of the regular season and was able to rush for 134 yards on the day making his season rushing yard total 2006. The 2000 yard rushing club is one of the most prestigious things you can be apart of being that there are only six members. The member include O.J. Simpson who rushed for 2003 yards in 1973, Eric Dickerson who rushed for 2105 yard in 1984, Barry Sanders who rushed for 2054 yards in 1997, Terrell Davis who rushed for 2008 yard in 1998, Jamal Lewis who rushed for 2066 yards in 2003, and now Chris Johnson who rushed for 2003 yards in 2009. Chris Johnson averaged a very impressive 5.6 yards per carry all through out the 2009-2010 NFL regular season, along with racking up 14 rushing touchdowns. He also had 50 catches for 503 yards and 2 touchdowns. Chris Johnson had a very impressive regular season, in which he rushed for over 2000 yards and put his name in the record books with some of the greatest running backs the NFL has ever seen.
