Lindsay Lohan Giving to The World
Posted December 15, 2009on:
Lindsay Lohan has filmed a documentary with BBC, a British broadcaster about the trafficking of women and children in India. Trafficking is the forcing of a person into sexual or labor exploitation. The 23-year old actress stayed in India for a week to film this documentary and visited some of the world’s most impoverished and deprived areas. She has always felt a strong duty to campaign against child slavery and AIDS. Last year while she was being interviewed by a Hollywood celebrity magazine, “In Touch”, she expressed that one of her future goals is to do some charitable works in India. It seems like her goal has been accomplished. She visited shelters that houses victims of trafficking and spent time with children and other residents there. She also visited hospitals around India and gave gifts to sick children. Lindsay is trying hard to contribute to the world and by saving lives and helping the poor, she is also changing her notoriously naughty and wild image. Her actions should inspire us to do something to help. I can’t wait to watch the documentary, it has been a long time she has filmed a movie or recorded a CD, this is a good start.
