The PGA Grand Slam of Golf was held in Bermuda on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. This is regarded as the hardest tournament to qualify for there are only 4 players but to get into the field you have had have won a major championship during the year. This year the players were Angel Cabrera, Lucas Glover, Y.E Yang, and Stewart Cink. The Grand Slam has been held in Bermuda for the last two years but at a different course. This year it has moved to the newly renovated Port Royal course which recently opened again in January. This year the players were lucky to have good weather for the 2 day event because the day before during the Pro-Am, there were thunder storms, lots of rain, and 40 mph winds that plated the ocean side course. After a first round 65 by Lucas Glover he had a 3 shot lead over Stewart Cink, after the front 9 of the second day we completed Glover and Cink were tied at -8, but 2 birdies by Glover and 2 bogeys by Cink on the following 2 holes would almost guarantee Glover the victory, he ended up winning by 5 shots over Cink.
