Yankees Sweep Twins

The New York Yankees have swept the Minnesota Twins in the American League Divisional Series with their 4-1 win Sunday night. New York got solid pitching from Andy Pettite, Joba Chamberlain, Phil Hughes, and Mariano Rivera to hold the Twins to one run. Alex Rodrguez and Jorge Posada homered for the Yankees, who are headed to their first American League Championship Series in 4 years. Andy Pettite got his 15th career postseason win, tying the all-time record. Alex Rodriguez had a great series for the Yankees. He went 5-11 with 2 homeruns and 6 rbis. The Yankees will host the Los Angeles Angels in game one of the National League Championship Series on Friday Night.
