Hardest Game Ever.

Posted on: October 14, 2009

Sunday October 11th the Cincinnati Bengal’s moved to 4 and 1 with a 17 to 14 over the Ravens. Carson Palmer led an 80 yard drive in the fourth quarter to beat the Ravens. Palmer threw a 20 yard touchdown pass to Andre Caldwell with 22 seconds to go. This was the Bengal’s fourth straight win after a late hail marry loss to the broncos. However, the win was not the most important thing that was going on the sideline that day. Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer had his wife on his mind the whole day after her sudden death on Thursday. Vicky Zimmer died on Thursday her cause of death has not been released. However, funeral plans have been made. This was the hardest game Zimmer ever had to coach because his biggest fan was not in the bleachers but was there in spirit. Zimmer has 2 boys and 1 daughter that he will have to watch over now that his wife is gone. After the game Zimmer received the game ball that the players gave him for his sacrifice that he made to be there on Sunday.

Mike Zimmer coached his first game without his wife on sunday.

Blake, good job on both articles this week. Keep in mind – you don’t have to include a link since what you’ve written is your own words.
