Another Walk Off Win in Dodgertown

It was game two of the NLDS in Los Angeles. The Dodgers won game one and the Cardinals were looking to bounce back in game two to even the series. Game two was anticipated to be a pitchers duel and that was exactly what it turned out to be. Clayton Kershaw, the Dodgers ace, was outstanding and the Cardinals’ starter, Adam Wainwright was even better. The Cardinals came out to an early 1-0 lead until Andre Ethier tied it up with a solo home run. Soon after, the Cardinals scored another run making it 2-1 and Wainwright took it from there. He pitched eight very strong innings and gave it over to the bullpen. It all looked good until two outs in the bottom of the ninth when Matt Holliday made a crucial error. From then on out it was all down hill for the Cards. Ronnie Belliard singled to score the tying run then Mark Loretta singled to score the winning run. It seems like the Dodgers always find a way to win in the ninth.
