Pettersen at the Canadian Woman's Open

Suzanne Pettersen, a Norwegian professional golfer recently dominated at the Canadian Woman’s Open.  Pettersen took the lead by a huge ten shots, and had a four day total of 269 (15 under par).  The victory was Suzanne Pettersen’s fifth on the LPGA tour.  The win at the Canadian Woman’s Open pushed her seasons winnings up to $1.1 million.  “To finally close the deal again feels really good” Pettersen said proudly after the final round of the tournament.  Pettersen maintained nerves of steel throughout her rounds, despite her large margin of victory.  Carrie Web came within three shots of her after Pettersen missed the green on the 10th during the final round.  Without a doubt Suzanne stepped up and drained the chip, allowing her lead to stay comfortable.  After the tenth she finished out her round with a couple more birdies, only to widen the gap between her and her nearest competitors.  Morgan Pressel, Momoko Ueda, Ai Miyazato, Angela Stanford, and Carrie Web came in second place, five shots behind Pettersen.
