Packers Vikings Football

On Monday Night Football it was the return of Brett Favre against his former team. The Green Bay Packers traveled to the MetroDome in Minnesota to play the Vikings. It was Favre’s first game against his long time organization. He was out to prove to the world that he can still sling it and that is exactly what he did. Favre was brilliant in front of a large crowd watching in the stands and watching on TV. He completed 24 of his 31 passes and threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. It was an impressive performance for an old man. He showed everyone that he can still bring it. The Vikings won the game handily with their tough goal line defense and powerful offense led by number 4. Adrian Peterson also had the other rushing touchdown for the Vikings. The final score of the game was 30 to 23. Favre looked very good against his former teammates and it will be interesting to see how he does for the rest of the season.
