Unemployment for young Americans has exploded to 52.2 percent, highest since WWII. Millions of young Americans will have a slow transition to becoming productive members of society. Without the creation of entry-level jobs makes seeking a job and moving out of parents’ houses a long extended process. There does not seem to be any job creation in the small business sector. Small businesses creates 70 percent of all jobs in our country. Unemployed young people should be getting employment from small businesses. There are six million small businesses in our country that are struggling while our government continues to focus on major companies to aid. Our government must shift its focus and remember who employs the majority of the public. Job creation for our young adults who are trying to start their lives should also be a priority.
