Vick is Back

Posted on: September 25, 2009

After underground dog fights, and over two years away from the game of football, Michael Vick is finally returning to face the Kansas City Chiefs. Vick is not expected to get the start but coach Andy Reid said “We put some things in for him, he will be up and we’ll go from there.” Vick is expected to run the Eagles’ version of the wild cat offense that often uses two running backs in the backfield who receive a direct snap.  Vick has said that he is not completely back to his old self yet but he is well on his way.  Vick, who showed up a little bit overweight to training camp, has said that he is now eating right and has lost weight. The biggest question now is, can Vick still out run over defenders like he use to? Can he still throw the deep ball downfield? Can he still have game changing performances? If you want to find out, you will have to tune into the Eagles Vs. Chiefs game Sunday at 1:00 o’ clock p.m. to hopefully get a glimpse of the once most electric player in the league.
