Postolowo golf club is one of the oldest golf courses in Poland. It’s situated on the coast, near Sopot city and Gdansk. These two cities are really big (3 million people live there), and are also perfect places to spend a few days of summer. Sopot city has a promenade with long platform on the sea. Night life in Sopot is also one of the biggest attractions. As the most visited sea coast city, it has lots of good restaurants and clubs.Postolowo golf club was opened in 1989. It has the longest 18 hole professional course in Europe – 7758 yards! It also has a small course of 9 holes (par 26) for beginners. The driving range is about 300 m (arround 330 yards) long. It is not only one of the hardest courses in Poland, but also in Europe. Greens are very bog and have lots of hills. Most of the fairways are very narrow with many trees arround them and water traps. One of the most beautiful holes and also one of the hardest is number 16 – a par 3 (230 yards) over the cliff with a lake on the left side and forest on the right. Postolowo Golf club has held lots of professional tournaments such as Polish Open, EPD tournaments and also some of the Challenge Tour.
