Senior Profile: Filippo Poma

n511656476_2214901_8014474Filippo Poma- Murialdo is a senior golfer attending The Pendleton School. In his second year at Pendleton and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, Poma has made great strides. Poma was a high 80’s low 90’s golfer when he came here at first, and has now been able to shoot in the high to mid 70’s. Filipo is a native to Costa Rica and has no siblings. Poma will be attending college at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he will be studying business and majoring in the PGM program. Filipo’s coach is Jay Denton who he has been with for two years. Filipo hopes to walk on to the Florida Gulf Coast University golf team and prove himself as a valuable asset to the team. Filipo will be going home to Costa Rica this summer where he will enjoy the beaches, island life, and the many outdoor activities that the country has to offer.
