The Carnival!

Posted on: November 13, 2008

On Saturday night IMG had a big carnival on campus. There was free food including popcorn, sno-cones, ice cream, and cotton candy. The activities that students could participate in were pretty fun. There was also a movie, played right next to it on the big screen and IMG provided students with blankets so we could actually sit down and watch the movie. The rock climbing wall was fun too. It was cool to see how high people could climb, which it tested their strength, determination and courage. I liked the inflatable slide and the inflatable obstacle course the most. People had a good time racing in the obstacle course, and it got really competitive. Another game that was at the carnival was the inflatable jousting, and it was hilarious to watch people joust against each other. Everywhere I looked people seemed to be having a good time, because all I saw were smiles and people laughing. This is good, because even though all of us at IMG are very dedicated to our sport and will do anything to achieve our goals, it is still important to remember that we are teenagers and it’s important to set aside a day where we can play, have a good time, and enjoy ourselves.
